Grateful Market finds packaging success with Shawmut
"We believe in sourcing locally. We love the attention to detail that Shawmut provides and the positive attitude that everyone takes when approaching a project."

Grateful Market is making a name for itself in New England.
This family-owned company’s purpose is to create food with no artificial ingredients, fillers, or allergens; a recipe of grass-fed Angus Beef combined with 30%–40% vegetables. The result is a burger that’s not just better for us but better for the planet.
While the team was thrilled with the product they weren’t happy with their commercial printer. The problem? The printer wasn’t local, only provided online press checks, and was not attentive to their needs, which made for a less than stellar customer experience. As a result, Grateful Market was in the market for a new printer and Shawmut was happy to help.
“We believe in sourcing locally,” Christopher Nessen, the founder and managing director of Grateful Market said, so working with a local printer was the right move for the company. “We love the attention to detail that Shawmut provides and the positive attitude that everyone takes when approaching a project.”
The Grateful Market mission—real ingredients and better health—inspired Shawmut to create the best packaging possible. “The customer journey matters,” said Justin Peluso, account executive at Shawmut. “Our intent is that a buyer’s experience is consistent, making sure there’s always a clear path to success.”
